View moreAccording to point (λδ) of paragraph 2 of Article 113 of Law 4727/2020 (available in Greek), the Hellenic Telecommunications and Post Commission (EETT) is responsible for monitoring and supervising the implementation of obligations concerning the provision of wholesale access and related facilities, price regulation and cost orientation, transparency, and non-discriminatory treatment with regard to wholesale access and the publication of reference offers, as applicable. These obligations are imposed on entities that develop and provide electronic communications networks and services co-financed with public funds, whose implementation has been approved by a decision of the European Commission.
EETT issues regulations governing all necessary matters related to the effective implementation of the above, in cooperation with the competent authority where required. In cases where obligated entities do not comply with these obligations, EETT may impose administrative penalties in accordance with Articles 137 and 138 of Law 4727/2020 (available in Greek).
