Spectrum Monitoring System

This project (‘TSMS’) aims to design, procure, deploy, integrate, operate, and effectively utilize in Greece, a versatile, state-of the art, innovative and geographically dispersed Radio-Spectrum Monitoring System. ‘TSMS’ will duly respond to the existing as well as the anticipated demands of all the (domestic) stakeholders that directly or indirectly base their commercial and/or individual activities on the unobstructed use of the Radio-Spectrum scarce national resource. ‘TSMS’, encompasses, inter alia, monitoring and communication subsystems that maximize coverage and ensure fast response overcoming obstacles posed by the geographical terrain, the underlying technologies, and the characteristics of utilized spectrum bands.

The Project was included for implementation in the Operational Program “Competitiveness, Entrepreneurship and Innovation” (EPANEK) of the NSRF 2014-2020 and was co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and National Resources. Within the framework of the NSRF 2014-2020, six sub-projects were implemented and completed.

The remaining two sub-projects were transferred and included for implementation in the Operational Program “Digital Transformation 2021-2027” with an estimated budget of 27,241,000 euros and co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and National Resources.
