This project (‘TSMS’) aims to design, procure, deploy, integrate, operate, and effectively utilize in Greece, a versatile, state-of the art, innovative and geographically dispersed Radio-Spectrum Monitoring System. ‘TSMS’ will duly respond to the existing as well as the anticipated demands of all the (domestic) stakeholders that directly or indirectly base their commercial and/or individual activities on the unobstructed use of the Radio-Spectrum scarce national resource. ‘TSMS’, encompasses, inter alia, monitoring and communication subsystems that maximize coverage and ensure fast response overcoming obstacles posed by the geographical terrain, the underlying technologies, and the characteristics of utilized spectrum bands.
The approved budget amounts to € 30,000,000.00 (thirty million Euros), including VAT. The project is fully co-financed by national funds and the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) of the European Union.
