The Communication hub for Anti-competitive practices enables stakeholders to notify the EETT of potential anti-competitive practices in the electronic communications and postal services markets, such as:
- price-fixing agreements concerning products/services or providers;
- agreements on the allocation of customers or geographic markets among undertakings;
- practices aimed at hindering the entry of new providers or new products/services into the market;
- anti-competitive conduct by undertakings holding a dominant position, e.g. with regard to unfair pricing or other contractual/transaction terms;
- abuse of a dominant position.
The Communication Hub for Anti-competitive Practices provides the following reporting channels:
Formal complaint/Submission of information
Representatives of undertakings or citizens may notify EETT through two channels:
- Formal complaint: the official mechanism for contacting EETT, which may trigger the initiation of an investigation into a case.
- Submission of information (named or anonymous): treated as general information and does not constitute a formal complaint. However, EETT may also initiate investigations ex officio for the purpose of identifying potential infringements.
External reporting of unlawful business practices in the context of employment relations (whistleblowing)
Employees, shareholders, or members of Boards of Directors who possess information regarding unlawful business practices obtained in the context of their employment relationship may report such information to EETT, without fear of retaliation and with the possibility of anonymity.
All information is evaluated by EETT and, where necessary, a relevant investigation is conducted.
