Vasileios Skartsounis was appointed Member of the Plenary of the Hellenic Telecommunications & Post Commission (EETT) on 30 June 2026.
He is a lawyer admitted to the Athens Bar Association and the Supreme Court of Greece, with extensive professional experience in litigation and legal advisory services. He specializes in administrative, criminal, commercial, and civil law, with particular expertise in corporate governance, regulatory compliance, administrative operations, and public procurement. He has significant experience in providing legal support to public sector entities, state-owned companies and private enterprises.
He founded and runs a law office in Athens. His professional practice covers a broad spectrum of legal fields, with particular emphasis on legal advisory services, the preparation of legal opinions, the management of complex legal cases, and representation before civil, criminal and administrative courts, as well as administrative authorities.
He served as Legal Counsel to the National Evaluation Center of Quality and Technology in Health (EKAPTY SA), during 2024-2026, providing specialized legal support on matters of administrative law, contracts, corporate operations and the implementation of the applicable regulatory framework. He was a Member of the Board of Directors of EYDAP Fixed Assets SA, from 2020 to 2024, contributing to the company’s strategic planning, oversight of management activities, and the handling of matters related to the operation and development of public utility infrastructure.
Vasileios Skartsounis holds a degree from the School of Law of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA) and two Master’s degrees from the Democritus University of Thrace, in International and European Energy Law, with a specialization in Regulatory Law, and in Criminal Law and Criminological Sciences.
