Dr Petros Potikas, Member

Dr Petros M. Potikas has served as a Member of the Plenary of the Hellenic Telecommunications & Post Commission (EETT) since 2022.

He is a Laboratory Teaching Staff Member (Grade A) at the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering of the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA). He has previously taught at the Department of Informatics and Telecommunications of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA), the Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB) and the Hellenic Open University (HOU).

His research interests include the theory of logic programming, inductive databases, computational logic, social network analysis, data analysis, cybersecurity and cryptography. He has authored numerous papers published in international peer-reviewed journals and conferences. He was a reviewer for international scientific conferences and journals, and participated in several national and European research projects. He was also Μember of the organizing committees of scientific conferences and workshops. Furthermore, he was a Μember of the organizing committee of the Panhellenic Informatics Competition, organized by the Hellenic Society of Scientists and Professionals in Informatics and Communications (EPY).

Dr Petros M. Potikas holds a degree in Informatics and Telecommunications from the Department of Informatics and Telecommunications of NKUA and a PhD from the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering of the NTUA. He was a Postdoctoral Researcher at the City University of New York (CUNY).
