Satellite service involves the communication of terrestrial satellite stations with space satellite stations via a satellite radio links. Terrestrial satellite stations may be fixed, mobile or transportable [e.g. outside broadcast satellite stations (Satellite News Gathering-SNG – Fly Αway)].
For fixed/transportable satellite links, the radio frequency bands provided for in the National Regulation on the Allocation of Radio Frequency Bands (NRFBA) can be used under the conditions provided for in the Regulation on terms of use for radio spectrum.
Where an individual right of use is required for a specific band of radio frequencies, you need to follow the procedure described in the Regulation on the use and granting of rights to use individual radio frequencies or radio frequency bands under General Authorization.
