The European Conference of Postal and Telecommunications Administrations-CEPT consists of the National Regulatory Authorities (NRAs) responsible for electronic communications and post commission. One of their most significant objectives, , is the cooperation among Member States in commercial, operational, regulatory and standardization matters. CEPT has a significant number of technical working groups and committees, focused mainly on electronic communications issues.
The Electronic Communications Committee-ECC of CEPT develops policies and actions, taking into consideration the European and international regulations and standards, whereas it also formulates common positions and proposals for Member States. At the same time, ECC aims to set out a harmonization process and a common policy in the management of technical issues and the provision of electronic communications services in the member states. ECC’s work is implemented through working groups, consisted of representatives from the member states.
