EETT’s official cooperation with China’s Postal Regulatory Authority

The Hellenic Telecommunications & Post Commission (EETT) and the Chinese Authority «State Post Bureau» have signed a «Memorandum of Understanding» to establish the cooperation between the two authorities in monitoring the postal market in Greece and China and also in issues of common interest at international level.

According to the «Memorandum of Understanding», the two authorities will exchange know-how and best practices in regulatory and market growth related issues to safeguard Universal Service and develop e-commerce activities as well as they will evaluate the experience from the postal sector liberalization in Greece. The two authorities will also evaluate a possible cooperation at international level, particularly with regard to their participation in the Universal Postal Union (UPU).

The «Memorandum of Understanding» with the Chinese Authority «State Post Bureau» highlights EETT’s substantial contribution to international developments in the postal sector.
