EETT recommendations for consumer protection in telephony and use of Internet applications
EETT issues recommendations to consumers on how to prevent arbitrary or excessive charges and
choose high-quality telecommunication products that meet their needs. These recommendations mainly
concern consumers who use bundled services that include telephony (fixed and/or mobile), Internet
and IPTV.
With these recommendations, consumers are advised to inform themselves about both the cost
and quality of services, before selecting a service bundle. In addition, EETT provides consumers
with tools to check the quality of a connection that are available on its website.
EETT will continue its efforts to ensure fair competition and transparency in the market,
improve service quality, protect consumers from unfair practices and facilitate their choice of
provider and service.
