The Broadband Report Q4-2013 outlines the development of the Greek broadband market during the last quarter of 2013. Its main findings are:
- At the end of December 2013, broadband connections reached 2,913,191 (up 123,147, compared to end September 2013). Broadband penetration increased to 25.8%, compared to 23,8% in end December 2012.
- The total number of LLU lines (full and shared) reached 1.907.303. Full LLU lines represent approximately 99% of them.
- Unbundled lines represent 55.9% of broadband lines, while retail lines by the incumbent operator (OTE) represent 43%. Bitstream lines represent 0.9% and the rest 0.2% are lines of other technologies (FWA, fiber, leased lines etc).
- VDSL lines reached 48.878, while retail lines by the incumbent operator represent 89%.
