The Broadband Report Q2-2018 outlines the development of the Greek broadband market during the second quarter of 2018. Its main findings are:
- At the end of June 2018, broadband connections reached 3,884,634 (up 89,224, compared to end December 2017). Broadband penetration increased to 36%, compared to 35.2% in end December 2017.
- The total number of LLU lines (Full-LLU, Sub-full LLU, Shared-LLU) reached 2.050.878. Full LLU lines represent approximately 99% of them.
- Unbundled lines represent 50.25% of broadband lines, while retail lines by the incumbent operator (OTE) represent 46.65%. Bitstream lines represent 2.76% and the rest 0.35% are lines of other technologies (FWA, fiber, leased lines etc).
- VDSL penetration reached 5.4% of Greek population.
