Session 1: Regulatory challenges for digital single market
This section will focus on the recommendations of the under consultation Code for Electronic Communications, which revises the electronic communications framework and demonstrates connectivity – i.e., the usage of multiple or bundled communication services (telecommunications, postal, over-the-top etc.) via fixed or mobile broadband access – as a main reference point and primary objective of the European Union. Representatives of the European Commission, European Regulators and European telecommunications operators will discuss the vision, content and regulatory challenges originating from the upcoming institutional changes.

Session 2: NGA networks & infrastructures in Greece; The digital upgrade in practice
Senior executives of the Greek electronic communications market will discuss the critical contribution of private initiative and the introduction of NGA technologies (VDSL vectoring / FttH / FttB) in the access network to the digital upgrade of the country. The promotion of fair competition in the fixed broadband access infrastructure, the ultra-high speed development and the achievement of connectivity for the benefit of the consumer will be the main discussion points.
