Former Professor of Instituto Superior de Ciências do Trabalho e da Empresa, Instituto de Novas Profissões, Faculty of Economics of Universidade Nova de Lisboa and Universidade Católica Portuguesa in Lisbon and Porto. In Universidade Católica Portuguesa he has been Vice‑Rector, Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business and Director of the Centre for Applied Studies.
