Call for interest for the designation of a) Bodies for the Assessment of Conformity of Secure-Signature-Creation Devices and Secure Cryptographic Modules according to Annexes III and II (f) of the P.D. No. 150/2001 (1)  respectively, and b) Bodies for the Assessment of Conformity of Certification Service Providers with the Voluntary Accreditation Criteria, in the frame of the electronic signature certifications services.
 
Hellenic National Telecommunication and Post Commission (EETT), is the competent authority, among others, according to the provisions of article 12 par. (xxvi) subpar. (a) of Law 3431/2006 (Government Gazette Issue No 13/Α/2006),  as well as articles 4, par. 2, 5 and 8 of the P.D. No. 150/2001 (Government Gazette Issue No.  125/Α/2001), in combination with the provisions of EETT’s Decision No. 295/63/2003 (Government Gazette Issue No. 1730/Β/2003) «Regulation on the Designation of Bodies for the Assessment of Conformity of Secure-Signature-Creation Devices and Secure Cryptographic Modules and on the Designation of Bodies for the Assessment of Conformity of Certification Service Providers with the Voluntary Accreditation Criteria», for the designation of Accreditation and Control Bodies of the assessment of conformity of  the electronic signatures according to Annexes III and II (f) of the PD 150/2001, as mentioned above.

Hence, EETT intends to communicate with public and/or private law entities established either in Greece or in a European Union Member State and/or other Member States of the European Economic Area (EEA), which are interested in being active in the market of the certification services of electronic signatures as a) Bodies for the conformity assessment of Secure-Signature-Creation Devices and Secure Cryptographic Modules b) Bodies for the conformity assessment of Certification Services Providers (CSPs) with the Voluntary Accreditation Criteria pursuant to the provisions of the above EETT Decision No 295/63/2003 (Government Gazette Issue No. 1730/Β/2003)

Hereupon, the above mentioned legal entities, which have to fulfil the  prerequisites of EETT Decision  295/63/2003 (Government Gazette Issue No 1730/Β/2003) as described above and are already engaged or wish to participate in the conformity assessment control of the CPSs and products and/or systems according to international standards, are invited to declare their interest in a written way, until 8/12/2006, in the address: EETT, 60, Kifissias Av.
