On February 16th, 2006, the Hellenic Telecommunications and Post Commission (EETT) in cooperation with the Police Department of Kavala, took action to locate and interrupt the operation of an illegal radio station broadcasting from the Stavros hill at the Sanatorio location in Kavala, at 96 MHz, and with the name “NONAMERADIO”.
 
The station generated harmful interference to the telecommunications station of the Hellenic Civil Aviation Authority (HCAA) station in Thasos.
 
 In the context of the automatic location, a mixed team comprising members from the Police Department of Kavala and EETT confiscated the entire broadcasting equipment of such radio station.
