   “The evolution of Courier Services and the Role of EETT” Workshop

   
 

The Workshop on "The evolution of Courier Services and the Role of EETT” organized by the Hellenic Telecommunications and Post Commission shall be held on Thursday, February 2nd, 2006 at 9:00 am at Divani Caravel Hotel. 
Mr. Michalis Liapis, Minister of Transport & Communications, shall make an address at this event and Professor Nikitas Alexandridis, EETT’s President, shall deliver the opening speech. Also, EETT Vice President, Mr. Thodoris Dravillas, shall speak about the central part played by EETT, as regulatory authority, in the further growth of the Courier Services Market.
 
The Workshop shall consist in two parts. The first part shall include the presentation of the results of a survey conducted by ΕΕΤΤ about the course of the Courier Services Market in 2004 and of the current situation in the market.
This part shall be coordinated by Mr. Th. Dravillas. The speakers shall be Messrs.: Gerasimos Agoranos - General Manager of SPEEDEX SA, Michalis Moschogiannis - General Manager of ORBIT COURIER SA, Apostolos Georgantzis - Managing Director of ACS SA, Christos Kostoulas - Managing Director of ELTA COURIER SA, Vassilis Triantafyllopoulos - EETT Post Offices Direction.

The issues to be addressed in the second part shall regard the trends in and prospects of the Courier Services Market as well as the role of EETT in it. It shall be coordinated by Mr. Giorgos Tsaprounis, EETT Member, and speeches shall be delivered by Messrs.: Thodoris Dravillas - EETT Post Offices Vice President, Dimitris Georgiou - President of the Greek Association of Postal Undertakings, Panagiotis Varzakakos - Administration Consultant to GENIKI TACHYDROMIKI SA, Tasos Vassilopoulos - IT Manager, DHL INTERNATIONAL SA, Nikolaos Printezis - EETT Post Offices Director.
