The Hellenic Telecommunications and Post Commission (EETT) shall hold a workshop
on "The evolution of Courier Services and the role of EETT” on Wednesday, January 25th, 2006
at 9:00 am at Divani Caravel Hotel.
The workshop aims at exchanging viewpoints and recording the positions of businesses in the
Market pertaining to the current situation and prospects of growth of the Courier Services sector.
The Minister of Transport & Communications, Mr. Michalis Liapis, shall make an address
at this event and EETT President, Professor Nikitas Alexandridis shall deliver the opening speech.
Also, EETT Vice President, Mr. Thodoris Dravillas, shall speak about the central part played by
EETT, as regulatory authority, in the further growth of the Courier Services Market.
The Workshop shall consist in two parts. The first part shall include the presentation of
the results of a survey conducted by ΕΕΤΤ about the course of the Courier Services Market in 2004
and of the current situation in the market. The issues to be addressed in the second part shall
regard the trends in and prospects of the Courier Services Market as well as the role of EETT in
it.
