Licences for Private Mobile Radio Networks (PMR)

The term "Private Mobile Radio Networks" is used to describe the professional land mobile radio telephony networks which are used for covering the communications needs of various business users, as well as of emergency services.

Private companies usually applying for a licence to operate special radio networks are radio-taxi companies, companies providing security services to third parties etc.

In order to standardise the procedure for filling in the application for granting a licence for the operation of private mobile radio networks, and thus facilitate the entire procedure, EETT has drawn up a model application form, which is submitted to the Prefectural Administration of the prefecture where the registered office of the network is located. The model application form is also accompanied by instructions which make filling in the form easier.
