Michalis Portokalis
Director General of Technical Services, ERT

Michalis A. Portokalis was born in Katerini in 1951 and is a graduate Electronic Engineer of the Polytechnic School of the University of Padua in Italy.

He has been working for ERT SA since 1984 as Head of TV and Radio booths in the Division of Technical Services at ERT-2, and as Deputy Head in the Department of External Takes & Electronic News. He has worked at the Division of Studies and Development of the Chairman’s Services and has been a member of the Organizational Committee of the 2004 Olympic Games at ERT SA.

Today he holds the position of Director General of Technical Services ERT.
