Anastasios Neratzis
3rd Vice-President of the Hellenic Parliament

Born in Nikaia – Piraeus in 03/10/1944.

He is the 3rd Vice-President of the Hellenic Parliament.

PARLIAMENTARY ACTIVITIES

• Deputy Minister of Development (2006-2007).

• Deputy Minister of Transport and Communications (2006-2007).

• Deputy Parliamentary Spokesman (2000-2004).

• In the 1974 elections he was first elected with the “Nea Demokratia” Party as Deputy of Piraeus (2nd Constituency) and also in the 1989,1993,1996,2000,2004 and 2007 elections.

• From April 2000 until March 2004 he was member of the Committee for the Revision of the Constitution (Mover of last unit).

• General Secretary of the House (1978-1981).

FURTHER POLITICAL ACTIVITIES

• Member of the Political Council of the “Nea Demokratia” Party (1994-1995).

• Elected member of the Central (24/04/1994) and of the Executive Committee (10/05/1994) of the “Nea Demokratia” Party.

• Founding member of the “Nea Demokratia” Party (1974).

• Member of EREN (1961-1965).

STUDIES

He studied Law at the University of Athens.

He has been honored with Greek and Foreigner medals and discriminations.
