Kostis Aivaliotis
LAOS MP

He was born in Athens in 3-9-1968.
He is married to Athanassia Gioutsou (surveying engineer from N.T.U.A.) and father of one child (Yiannis Aivaliotis).

Profession: Economist.
Studies: Graduate of the Faculty of Economics, University of Athens. Holds a Master’s degree in Economic Theory and Policy from the Athens University of Economics and Business, as well as a Master’s degree in International Policy from the University of Brussels (U.L.B.).

Foreign languages: English, French and Spanish.

Parliamentary activity
Elected member of the Hellenic Parliament in the 2nd Athens Constituency with the Popular Orthodox Rally (LAOS) in the elections of September 2007. Parliamentary Representative of LAOS since September 2007.

Political – social activity
-Head of the Political Office of the President of LAOS, Mr. Karatzaferis, in the European Parliament, in Brussels.
-Member of the Secretariat of the Independence/Democracy Group in the European Parliament.
-Member of the Secretariat of the European political party A.D.I.E. (“Alliance of Independent Democrats in Europe”)
-Elected member of the Committee of the “Greek Circle of Contemporary Studies” in Brussels.
-Correspondent in Brussels of TV channels (TELEASTY, HIGH TV etc.) and sector-trade Press (“Τροχοί και T.I.R.”, “TRANS WEEKLY” etc.).
