Nikos Vasilakos

Nikos Vasilakos was born in Alimos in 1974.
He studied Linguistics and worked as an Editor at the Babiniotis Modern Greek Lexicon, while he constructed the first webpage of the Linguistics Department.
In 1996 he was employed as a journalist at the NEMECIS magazine covering language, Internet and IT.
During the 1997-1999 period he studied Internet and Computer Science.
In 1999 he was first elected at the Executive Board of the Association of Hellenic Internet Users, which is a Non Profit ISP and a Non Government Organization established in 1994 in Athens, Greece.
In 2000 he was employed at In.gr, the Lambrakis Press Leading Internet News Portal in Greece.
Today he is Editor in Chief at In.gr focused on books and technology, while he writes modern news in ancient greek at www.in.gr/tech/arxaia.asp. As contibuting editor he writes for RAM, Financial RAM magazines and "TO VIMA" newspaper. He also presents new Hi Tech news, once a week, at Greek National TV.
Since 2007 he is a co-worker at the Special Secretary of Digital Planning.
