Costas Polychronopoulos

He was born in Athens in 1979.
Costas holds an MSc (with honours) in Information Systems (MScIS) from the Athens University of Economics & Business (AUEB) and has graduated from the Department of Informatics & Telecommunications, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA), while having also studied in the University of Vienna, Austria on a SOCRATES/ERASMUS grant.
He has worked in the National School of Public Health on the analysis, design and implementation of the Public Health early warning and report Management Information System for the Olympic Games 2004.
Since September 2004 he has been employed as a Research Assistant in the Communication Networks Laboratory of the Department of Informatics & Telecommunications, participating in EU-funded FP6 research projects in the field of Information and Communication Technologies.
He is a member of the Hellenic Union of Information Scientists.
He is a member of the Association des Etats Generaux des Etudiants de l'Europe (AEGEE) since 2002, where he currently serves as Vice-President and IT Responsible.
