George Lechouritis is the minister of Consumers General Confederacy (INKA) since September 2004 till today.

Over a decade he was occupying will everything that concerns consumers. He was born in KALAVRITA in 1954 where he lived as a child.
He was raised in Athens after his primary school, and since 1986 he is living in Agrinio, where he is married a physiotherapist called Lambrini Kolovou.

He is working in Aitoloakarnania’s Nomarchy as an agriculturist technical since 1983.He is involved in the consumer’s rebellion since 1995. His activities for the consumer’s rebellion have made him take part in many conferences of National and European Standard.

He had a radio broadcast move than three years concerning with consumers information in Agrinio(Antenna Star 105,8 FM). He wrote articles in newspapers and magazines concerning the consumers all over the country.

Nowadays, by his position, he is engaged with consumer’s information. He is a member of the National Council of Consumers (ΕΣΚ) in the Department of Growth since 2000. He is also a member of the Administrative Council of ΕΦΕΤ(EFET) (controlling victuals) since 2004.

In his everyday life he is volunteering in the consumers rebellion by taking part in all kinds of movements of MKO, Departments, schools, Universities,ΓΣΕΕ,consumer’s rebellions ,Commercial insurances, social and professional unions, in Greece and Europe.
