Born in Athens 1961. He holds a B.A. Economics, University of Sussex and a M.Sc. International Economics, University of Cardiff.
He is the assοciate project manager for the “e-dialogos” e-participation project currently being implemented at the City of Trikala.
A founding member and ex-General Manager of access2democracy, an NGO whose mission is to promote the principles and practices of e-democracy worldwide. He has led various e-democracy projects (e-Voices Cyprus, e-partnerships etc) and he regularly contributes to various international fora (Εuropean Commission, Council of Europe, ΕΕΤΤ, European Foundation Centre, WCIT 2004, WSIS etc) and publications on e-democracy and the internet & political communications. In 2005 he was an International Senior Fellow at the Center of Philanthropy and Civil Society, City University of New York. He has led the “Civil Society Index-Greece” research project, part of the international project by Civicus which maps civil society in over 50 countries worldwide. In the past, he has worked for the marketing & communications industry, mainly in charge of Strategic Planning for major clients from the industry and public sector companies and institutions.
