Christos Douligeris
Christos Douligeris received his Diploma in Electrical Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens and the MS, MPhil and PhD from Columbia University in New York, USA. He held positions with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Miami, where he reached the rank of associate professor. He is currently an associate professor at the department of Informatics, University of Piraeus, Greece. He is also an associate member of the Hellenic Authority for Information and Communication Assurance and Privacy, member of the board of trustees of the Greek Computer Society and member of the Executive Committee of the National Council on Electronic Commerce. Dr. Douligeris has published extensively in the networking scientific literature and he has participated in many research and development projects. He was the guest editor of a special issue of the IEEE Communications Magazine on ‘‘Security for Telecommunication Networks’’. He is the co-editor of a book on ‘‘Network Security’’ published by IEEE Press/ John Wiley. He is an editor of the IEEE Communications Letters, a technical editor of IEEE Network, Computer Networks (Elsevier), International Journal of Wireless and Mobile Computing (IJWMC) , Journal of Internet Engineering, International Journal of Sensor Networks and the Euro Mediterranean Journal of Business (EMJB).
