Born 1938 in Rio-Achaia (Peloponnese).

University degrees:B.A.from the University of Athens-School of Law

B.A.from the Panteion University of Political&Social Sciences-Political Science Department and M.A. from the University of Leeds,U.K. in Development Administration.

He has served as Director in the Ministry to the Presidency of Government from 1978 to 1990 and as Director General from 1991 to 1999.

He was the Representative of Greece in the Public Administration Committee of the O.E.C.D.from 1990 to 1999 as well as in the Executive Council of the European Institute of Public Administration(E.I.P.A.) in Maastricht-Netherlands from 1991 to 1999.

During the years 1994 to 2003 he was a Counselor at the Higher Council of Public Sector Personnel Selection,where he became Vice-President from April 25,2003 to March 3, 2004.

From March 17,2004 to date,he is the General Secretary of the Ministry of the Interior,Public Administration&Decentralization/General Secretariat of Public Administration&e-Government.
